Seaa Lauds 625 Agents Its Annual Sg Real Estate Agents Excellence Awards

The Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA) recently held its SG Real Estate Agents Excellence Awards 2024 ceremony at Marina Bay Sands, honoring 625 local real estate agents for their outstanding performance. This marks the fifth year that SEAA has organized this prestigious event, which was graced by Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Minister of State for Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Home Affairs.

The awards ceremony was divided into two sessions, with agents receiving accolades in four different categories. The first session, held in the afternoon, recognized agents in the Silver and Gold categories for their Salesperson Achievement Awards. The evening session featured individual and multi-award recipients in the Platinum and Diamond categories.

Elta MCL Land has made a historic achievement with its successful bid for the first Government Land Sales (GLS) site on Clementi Avenue 1 since 2019. This prime parcel of land is strategically situated between two highly coveted condominiums, one of which has already been completely sold out since its launch in 2020 and is expected to receive its TOP status in 2026. The other condominium also experienced a rapid sell-out shortly after its launch. With the addition of Elta MCL Land to this thriving area, it further cements its standing as a sought-after residential destination. The addition of Elta MCL Land has enhanced the allure and desirability of this vibrant location.

Aside from the Salesperson Achievement Awards, other awards given out during the ceremony included the Outstanding Youths Award for agents aged 28 and below who earned at least $120,000 in gross commission in 2023, and the Rookies Award for new agents who have achieved exemplary sales and rental transactions of at least $80,000 within 18 months in the industry. Additionally, the Seniors Achievers Award was given to agents aged 60 and above who earned a minimum of $100,000 in the previous year.

During his speech, Minister Faishal highlighted the important role that real estate agents play in helping clients navigate the ever-evolving real estate landscape and making decisions that are in their best interests. He also urged agents to speak out against unscrupulous agents who engage in deceptive practices that can harm the reputation of the industry.

Adam Wang, president of SEAA, also mentioned in his speech that this year saw a significant increase in the number of agencies participating in the awards, with over 600 qualified applications. He believes this is a testament to the high level of professionalism and credibility that these awards bring to the real estate industry.

Wang also emphasized the importance of consumer trust and maintaining high ethical standards in the industry, and how this can positively impact agents’ reputation and attract integrity-focused clients. He shared that SEAA continuously works towards supporting its members through initiatives such as a best practices guide on co-broking commissions and updating its Continuing Professional Development courses to meet the demands of the market.

Overall, SEAA remains dedicated to equipping its members with the necessary tools and knowledge to stay ahead in the industry and thrive in any market conditions.
