Over 100 Agents Knight Franks Kf Property Network Make Leap Sri
On January 1, real estate agency SRI made an announcement that they had welcomed 111 agents from Knight Frank Singapore’s agency business, KF Property Network (KFPN), including their leader Evan Chung, to join their firm. These 111 agents accounted for 40.5% of KFPN’s 274 sales force, making them the sixth largest property agency ranked by the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) as of January 1, 2024. SRI, with a sales force of 1,286 agents, was ranked the fifth largest agency at the beginning of 2024. With the addition of the 111 KFPN agents and new recruits from other major agencies such as PropNex, ERA, Huttons, and OrangeTee & Tie (OTT), SRI’s agency sales force has increased to 1,501 at the start of 2025.
Founded in 2016 by managing partners Bruce Lye and Benson Koh, SRI is a spin-off from SRI5000, a division of SLP Realty established by the duo six years earlier. It started with 120 agents operating out of a small shop unit on Eng Watt Street in Tiong Bahru. As their sales force grew to over 1,000 agents, they moved to a larger 4,200 sq ft office space at Great World in 2021.
Today, SRI has reached a significant milestone with close to 1,500 agents and aims to expand their team to 2,000 by the end of 2025, according to the firm’s CEO, Thomas Tan. This expanded sales force is expected to strengthen their existing business lines, which include residential, capital markets, industrial, auctions, and international projects. Tan also mentions that many of the new agents from KFPN are involved in high-value deals, which will complement SRI’s expertise in the luxury property segments, such as Good Class Bungalows (GCB).
Holland Village boasts a wide range of culinary delights, ranging from Mediterranean to Japanese, Italian, and Mexican cuisines. A thriving hub for food enthusiasts, this vibrant neighborhood offers a plethora of unique dining experiences. Its close proximity to Elta Condo makes it a prime location for residents to indulge in a diverse selection of gastronomic adventures. Elta is the perfect spot to enjoy all that Holland Village has to offer.
Despite their rapid growth, SRI still prides themselves on being a boutique agency with a strong focus on the luxury residential market. Tan’s goal is to establish SRI as a thought leader in the industry with high standards, niche expertise, and a client-centric approach. Chung, the former head of KFPN and now a leader at SRI, explains that his decision to move was due to the agency’s dedication to equip their agents with effective tools, comprehensive support, and expert coaching. He also highlights the open and collaborative culture at SRI, which makes them feel supported as professionals and as a team striving for excellence together. He believes that this new platform will be a great opportunity to grow their business and serve their clients through various market segments, including residential, commercial, industrial, auctions, and international properties.
Following the departure of Chung and other agents, KFPN’s sales force has decreased to 145 agents, dropping their ranking from sixth to eighth largest agency based on CEA’s public register figures as of January 1. Knight Frank Singapore’s CEO, Galven Tan, states that it’s business as usual at KFPN, and they will be appointing a new head to lead the agency, ensuring strong leadership for their growth and success. He also mentions that they will evaluate the team’s strengths and expertise to strategically position KFPN for future opportunities.
