Hyatt Hotels Corp, a leading player in the global hospitality industry, has partnered with Singapore-based property developer SingHaiyi to launch the luxurious Hyatt Regency Samarafushi Maldives. This exciting collaboration was announced at a signing ceremony on September 26, where Gallant Tang, executive director of SingHaiyi, expressed his enthusiasm for working with Hyatt and their renowned reputation in the industry. “We are thrilled to work with Hyatt in creating a resort that embodies the excellence and values of the Hyatt Regency brand, which our guests will surely appreciate,” said Tang.

The High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to Singapore, Mohamed Luveiz, also spoke highly of the upcoming resort, stating that it will be a valuable addition to the country’s portfolio. “As the Maldives’ infrastructure continues to expand, including the Valena International Airport and upcoming domestic airport infrastructure, we hope to provide better connectivity and opportunities for travelers,” he said.

This prestigious property marks Hyatt Regency’s flagship resort in the Maldives, and will be the company’s third property in the country, adding to their impressive portfolio of 80 Hyatt Regency branded hotels in the Asia Pacific region, including locations such as Bali, Phuket, and Sydney.

For SingHaiyi, the Hyatt Regency Samarafushi resort will be their second property in the Maldives, following the success of their 120-villa resort, Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives.
