Cbre Appoints Hugh Macdonald Head Capital Advisors Apac
CBRE has recently announced the appointment of Hugh Macdonald as the head of capital advisors for Asia Pacific (Apac). As an industry veteran with over twenty years of experience in the banking sector, Macdonald brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in investment banking, as well as the real estate, gaming, leisure and lodging industries. Prior to joining CBRE, Macdonald held the position of head of investment banking coverage and advisory for Australia and New Zealand at Deutsche Bank.
In his new role, Macdonald will report to Leo van den Thillart, global head of investment banking, and Greg Hyland, head of capital markets, Apac. He will also be based in Singapore and will start his role in Sydney before relocating to Singapore in the first quarter of 2025.
