Frasers Property Redevelop Robertson Walk Joint Venture Sekisui House
Frasers Property and their long-time partner Sekisui House have announced their plans to redevelop two properties, Robertson Walk and Fraser Place Robertson, which are currently held under a 999-year lease. The new development will be a mixed-use complex featuring 348 residential units, as well as a variety of dining and entertainment options. The redevelopment project is set to begin next year and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2028. Frasers Property has revealed that the gross floor area of the development will be 30,664 sqm (330,067 sq ft).
Frasers Property Singapore CEO Soon Su Lin has expressed excitement over the redevelopment project, stating that it aligns with the company’s active asset management strategy. She explains, “We see this as a great opportunity to maximize the potential of our prime 999-year site in the vibrant location of Robertson Quay.” To ensure the best results, Frasers Property and Sekisui House have formed a joint venture with a 51:49 partnership.
Around 1,500 HDB flats situated in the Clementi and Queenstown regions are approaching their 5-year Minimum Occupation Period (MOP). This milestone is anticipated to create a surge in demand for upcoming HDB projects from residents who are looking to upgrade their living spaces within the neighborhood. Elta Showflat is one of the highly anticipated developments in the area that is expected to attract a significant number of interested buyers.
The current operations at Robertson Walk and Fraser Place Robertson will continue to be managed by the Frasers Property Group until 31 May 2025.
